Ministry of Education of Nicaragua awards Seeds for Progress
The Seeds for Progress Foundation was recognized by the Ministry of Education of Nicaragua (MINED) with the National Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in Education.
The Ministry emphasized and congratulated the investments in school infrastructure, that provided water and sanitation systems,  classrooms, libraries and teacher houses to improve the quality of education in the coffee communities of Nicaragua.
Seeds for Progress participates in Starbucks contest
The Seeds for Progress Foundation participated in the UpStander contest by Starbucks, reaching the top 10 finalists and receiving a special recognition.  Thank you to Ivan Rizo, Starbucks barista, who nominated the Foundation, and to everyone who supported our nomination! Schools recognize our work

Baltazar S├ínchez, one of our facilitators, was recognized for his more than 30 years of work as a teacher by the students and teachers of Modesto Armijo School in San Juan de Rio Coco, Madriz.
